• PCB Design & Circuit Simulation

A Printed Circuit Board (PCB) mechanically supports and electrically connects electronic components using conductive tracks, pads and other features etched from copper sheets laminated onto a non-conductive substrate. PCBs can be single sided (one copper layer), double sided (two copper layers) or multi-layer. Conductors on different layers are connected with plated-through holes called vias. Advanced PCBs may contain components – capacitors, resistors or active devices – embedded in the substrate.

Printed circuit boards are used in almost all of the electronic products.

OBJECTIVE OF THE WORKSHOP: The Main objective of this workshop is to make the students conceptually and practically aware about:

    • Understanding of the steps and processes involved in PCB design Process
    • PCB Fabrication Process
    • Schematic Capture using Industry Standard Schematic Capture tools
    • Preparation of Board for Layout
    • Simulation with LT Spice
    • Gerber file Creation and View
    • Practical hands on to demonstrate PCB fabrication of a circuit.

    DURATION OF THE WORKSHOP: 30hours

    • Final Concluding Remarks

  • Arduino with Ethernet based industrial application in Internet of Things(IoT)

AJ Tech Research Labs has a strong emphasis in the area of Internet of Things(IoT)

The Internet of Things (IoT) is about devices and services delivering end-to-end solutions. Although the IoT market is made up of many vertical segments, most applications that can make use of Internet connected devices have a common foundation. For example - smart cities, basic wearables and smart home devices require basic OS functionality like drivers, device security and provisioning support. In addition, network connectivity varies from application to application, in general however, the IP networking, security, application layer and device management needs are all common.

OBJECTIVE OF THE WORKSHOP: The Main objective of this workshop is to make the students conceptually and practically aware about:

    • How Internet of Things(IoT) is changing everything around us
    • Using GPRS Technology to push data on a Central Server.
    • Interfacing controller to a Modbus based device

    DURATION OF THE WORKSHOP: 16-hours

TOPICS and HANDS-ON ACTIVITY IN THE WORKSHOP:
    • Hands-on Sessions by experts in Internet-of-Things
    • Hands-on in GPRS modem and using Modbus Technologies
    • Fabricating and Programming the Hardware
    • Testing of Hardware and Competition

  • Embedded System Design

Program Objective: This course starts with a review of C Programming Skills and Embedded Approach, Reading Datasheets, Introduction to Compilers and IDE, Controller Architecture, Understanding Peripherals and Protocols. It is a 100% Practical program which gives a great start to the students to understand Electronics, Basic Programming and how to work with the Microcontrollers from the Practical Approach. This program enriches the knowledge of the student and also motivates them very strongly into a Career in Electronics field.

Program Benefits: At the end of the Program the student can apply C Programming for Embedded, understand the controller from the data sheet point of view, usage of Compiler and IDE for Particular Controller (MPLAB, Keil and Proteus), Programming LED, LCD, Seven Segment, Motor Control, PWM, Real Time Clock, RS-232, I2C and SPI. This program also includes Introduction to ARM Architecture.
